
Samsung may soon unveil it’s much awaited foldable smartphone that has been in talks for many years now. As of now, there is no confirmation about the naming of the device. A majority of reliable sources are claiming that this new foldable phone will be called the Galaxy F or the Galaxy X. So here’s everything you need to know about this smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy F: World’s First Foldable Smartphone
CEO of Samsung’s mobile division, DJ Koh recently said in an interview that a phone with a foldable display might be revealed at the Samsung Developer Conference which will take place in the month of November. Samsung wants to preserve some hype for its 10th generation Galaxy S device. Consequently, the Galaxy F is being launched in the month of November.

Earlier we have seen many prototypes of foldable smartphones, but this time around Samsung will come up with an actual unit. It is worth noting that, the manufacturing process of this foldable smartphone is fairly difficult. Hence, Samsung may not retail the device now. Koh admitted that the device is still not complete. However, he said that the development is in the final stages.

At IFA we saw that Huawei announced the world’s first 7nm manufacturing process based mobile processor. Surprisingly, Huawei may also unveil its foldable smartphone in November. This time around Samsung doesn’t want to lose the opportunity of being first in the world. Furthermore, Samsung has been working on this technology for years now.

The rumored cost of Samsung Galaxy F may be $2000. There are no official announcements about the internals of the smartphone.
