It’s not been a happening year for Tata Docomo as a once popular telecom operator now awaits the calling of a merger with Airtel in the near future. While that happens in the background, Tata Docomo is currently rolling out five new prepaid plans, just weeks after Airtel did the same for its new users.
The new plans from Tata Docomo come under its ‘Combo Prepaid Vouchers’ section and start for as low as Rs 35. Other plans in the list are priced at Rs 65, Rs 95, Rs 145 and Rs 245 and offer validity benefits from 28 to 84 days. Here are the complete details of the new prepaid plans listed by Tata Docomo.
Rs 245 Prepaid plan:
The most expensive of all the five plans is available for Rs 245 and offers a total validity of 84 days. Benefits include voice calls at 1 paise per 2 seconds with as much as 2GB of 3G data and Rs 245 talk time.
Rs 145 Prepaid plan:
The Rs 145 prepaid plan from Docomo offers 1GB of 3G data on Tata Docomo Network and a full talk time of Rs 145. Calls will be charged at 1p/2s and the plan will be available for a duration of 42 days.
Rs 95 Prepaid Plan:
Docomo is offering a 28-day prepaid pack for a price of Rs 95 which allows users to make outgoing calls at 1p/2s and offers a full talk time of Rs 95. The plan also provides 500MB of 3G for the same duration.
Rs 65 Prepaid Plan:
A recharge of Rs 65 will get users a talk time of Rs 55 and a call rate at 1p/s. The offer is valid for 28 days and packs in 200MB of 3G data.
Rs 35 Prepaid Plan:
Even the cheapest of the five offers a 28-day validity plan and adds Rs 26.66 as a user’s main balance. Available for as low as Rs 35, the plan will pack 100MB of free 3G data with a call rate of 2.5p/s.
Tata Docomo is in the process of completion of a merger as they seek regulatory approvals to complete the proceedings. Once the merger is complete, Tata Docomo users will be able to make use of Airtel’s 4G services as it looks to gain back its lost userbase.
