PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile has now received a new update that shifts the app to version 0.9.0 on both Android and iOS devices. The update brings a lot of features within the game including a new night mode on the Erangel map, new weapons and vehicles and Halloween-themed in-game content to the more than 20 million daily active players.
The new Night Mode will be available in addition to the Classic Mode in Erangel allowing players to alternate between day and night and loot with their Night Vision Goggles on. The map now also details about the adjacent buildings, trees and barriers within a region.
As part of Halloween celebrations, PUBG has also refreshed its in-game design with Halloween decorations including haunting grenade explosions and loot-able scarecrow dead body crates. Players can now unlock exclusive Halloween weapon and vehicle skins and customise unique outfits with an assortment of colours and logos.
In addition to new features, the 0.9.0 update also improves matchmaking times and prioritisation, new weapons and vehicles, less crashes and jitters. There’s a new Spectator Mode which allows players the ability to watch opponents until the end of the match even after being eliminated. Crew Leaders can also crews of up to six players to compete in Qualification, Group and Finals rounds to earn exclusive rewards.
