The Mi TV 4 Pro is the flagship variant of the three TVs, featuring a 55-inch 4K LED display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a viewing angle of 178-degrees. The TV is powered internally by a 1.8GHz quad-core Amlogic processor with Mali-T830 GPU, 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage.
At its Smarter Living event in Bengaluru, Xiaomi unveiled a bunch of hardware products to be launched in India including a new Mi Band 3 activity tracker and three Mi TVs - the 55-inch Mi LED TV 4 Pro, 49-inch Mi LED TV 4A Pro and 32-inch Mi LED TV 4C Pro. While the new fitness band is available for a price of Rs 1,999, the new TV lineup will start retailing in India for Rs 14,999.
Mi Band 3
Starting off, the Mi Band 3 features a 0.78-inch OLED monochrome screen that Xiaomi claims will offer a better experience when viewing messages and notification. It is equipped with a heart rate monitor and can also count the number of steps you took for an entire day as part of its health-based functions. There’s an improved battery that will last you up to 20 days on a single charge. The fitness tracker would also be resistant to dust and water to up to 50 meters, meaning the device could well be used for swimming. Connectivity is possible through Bluetooth 4.2 BLE which helps to pair the Mi Band 3 with devices running on Android 4.4 / iOS 9.0 or higher. The Mi Band 3 is available for purchase for an asking price of Rs 1,999.
55-inch Mi LED TV 4 Pro
Xiaomi has taken the wrappers off three of its latest TVs with the 55-inch Mi LED TV 4 Pro being the flagship of all three. The Mi TV 4 Pro features a 55-inch 4K LED display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a viewing angle of 178-degrees. The TV is powered internally by a 1.8GHz quad-core Amlogic processor with Mali-T830 GPU, 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. Connectivity options include WiFi (2.4GHx/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2LE, Mi Port, a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port, Ethernet and three HDMI ports. The TV also relays support for HDR and Dolby+DTS Cinema Audio and is available in India for a price of Rs 49,999 on Flipkart and Mi.com.
49-inch Mi LED TV 4A Pro
The mid-range Mi LED TV 4A Pro features a 49-inch Full HD display with HDR support, 178-degree viewing angle and a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The 4A Pro is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Amlogic SoC with Mali-450 GPU, 2GB RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. There are dual 10-watt stereo speakers with DTS audio support and connectivity options are the same as that of the 4 Pro with the exception of a USB 3.0 port. The 49-inch Mi LED TV 4A Pro will be made available from October 9 for a price of Rs 29,999 exclusively through Flipkart and Mi.com.
32-inch Mi LED TV 4C Pro
The cheapest of the three is the latest Mi LED TV 4C Pro which sports a 32-inch HD LED display that has a screen resolution of 1366×768 pixels and is powered by the same 1.5GHz quad-core Amlogic processor like that of the Mi TV 4A Pro. The device gets 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage with dual 10-watt stereo speakers that render support for DTS Audio. Connectivity is provided through WiFi (2.4Ghz), Bluetooth 4.2, three HDMI ports AV, Ethernet, two USB 2.0 ports and a headphone jack. The 32-inch Mi LED TV 4C Pro will retail for a price of Rs 14,999 through Amazon India and Mi.com from October 9.
New PatchWall UI with Google Assistant, Play Store
On the software front, all three TV run on Android TV based on Android 8.1 Oreo with built-in Chromecast support. The TVs also feature Xiaomi’s latest PatchWall UI and will feature the Google Play Store for the first time. Users will also be able to access the Google Assistant on their Mi TVs with voice search through the bundled Mi Remote. PatchWall will soon welcome content from Amazon Prime Video, Eros Now, JioCinema, Hooq and Epic and the latest interface will be rolled out to older Mi TVs later next year.
