Xiaomi Redmi 6A new variant launched with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage


Apart from the difference in the storage, the specs of the new variant are same as that of the existing Redmi 6A variant. It features a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS display with 720 x 1440 pixel resolution and an 18:9 elongated front screen.

Xiaomi launched Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A smartphones in China last month. The Redmi 6A was announced with 2GB RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. Now the company has launched a new variant of Redmi 6A with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage for 699 Yuan which is approximately Rs 7,246.

The new variant will be available for sale in China from July 10 and currently listed on retailer JD.com's website for pre-order. It is price 100 Yuan costlier than the existing Redmi 6A variant. The  Redmi 6A 2GB variant is priced at 699 yuan (approx. Rs 6,300). It currently comes only in gold colour.

The Redmi 6A features a MediaTek Helio A22 quad-core processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone features a 13-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is backed by a 3000mAh battery.

As per a recent report, Xiaomi Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and 6 Pro are expected to launch in India soon. The report further highlighted that Xiaomi will not launch its flagship device, the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE and Mi Band 3 in India for the next two or three months at least.
