Last week, Xiaomi teased that it was working on a new lineup of smartphones that will be called Pocophone. Today, the company has confirmed that it’ll be launching the Poco F1 under its POCO sub-brand in India on August 22. The announcement comes as an invite that reads “Poco F1: Master of Speed” thus confirming that the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s top of the line Snapdragon chipset.
The news follows up after last week’s announcement from Jani Mani, Xiaomi’s India Lead Product Manager who confirms about the new project under Xiaomi India. The company has also partnered with Qualcomm for what it indicates as “a whole new level of real-world speed”.
