POCO F1 starts receiving MIUI 10 Stable 10.0.6.0 Update

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched its debut smartphone POCO F1 (review) earlier this year. The smartphone recently received the Android 9 Pie-based MIUI 10 Global Open Beta version 8.11.15. Now, Xiaomi has started rolling out the MIUI 10 stable 10.0.6.0 update for the smartphone which brings fingerprint recognition optimisations and improved lock screen. 
According to reports, the latest stable update for the POCO F1 takes care of all the issues reported by users on the official forum. As per the changelog, the Fingerprint recognition is now more stable and users will be able to set home screen grid and icon sizes now. The update also improves the notification bar, status bar and lock screen. The update takes care of the issue where the notifications were not immediately shown on the status bar. Other issues that the update addresses are battery percentage issue in charging mode, hidden music widget on the lock screen and battery status of bluetooth headphones on the status bar. The latest update bears the version number V10.0.6.0.OEJMIHF and weighs 175MB in size.

To recap on the spec sheet, the POCO F1 is the most affordable smartphone in India with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The smartphone ships with a 6.18-inch IPC LCD FHD+ display. The handset boots Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9 and offers a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. The smartphone offers a dual 12MP + 5MP camera setup at the rear, and a 20MP front snapper. A massive 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 tech complete the list of the specs.
The POCO F1 comes in three RAM and storage configurations – 64GB + 128GB + 256GB. The base variant has been priced at Rs 20,999, while the 128GB and 256GB models are being offered for Rs 23,999 and Rs 28,999, respectively. The smartphone is up for grabs from both offline and online stores in India.
