LG’s First Android One Smartphone LG G7 One Along With LG G7 Fit Announced


LG has entered the Android One smartphone market which is mostly ruled by manufacturers like Xiaomi and Nokia. The South Korea based tech giant announced its two new smartphones LG G7 One and the LG G7 Fit ahead of IFA 2018. Well, the LG G7 One can be considered as a flagship Android One smartphone with a generation old internals and many flagship features inherited from LG G7. On the other hand, the LG G7 Fit has nearly similar features but comes with LG’s own software skin.

LG G7 One: Specifications And Features

LG G7 One offers many flagship features like Snapdragon 835 processor, Boombox speaker, and headphone jack with quad DAC. The smartphone has an impressive 6.1-inch 1440p FullVision Super Bright IPS display, that makes media consumption a pleasure to eyes. Furthermore, the G7 One also includes a notch which helps the smartphone to offer a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

The major highlight of the LG G7 One is its software i.e. Android One. Google’s own software Android One ensures regular security updates and a maximum of two major software upgrades. Apart from that LG has also included a dedicated button to trigger Google Assistant. If LG launches the G7 One at a competitive price, it will be a stellar smartphone

LG G7 Fit: Specifications And Features

LG G7 Fit is a nearly similar smartphone that offers comparatively low-powered internals and runs on LG’s own software based on Android 8.1 (Oreo). Again, the LG G7 Fit is powered by an old Snapdragon 821 processor. The performance of this old flagship processor is similar to that of Snapdragon 660. LG claims that the G7 Fit is “designed to bridge the gap between mid-range and flagship models.”

Overall the LG G7 Fit is a decent smartphone that will be priced less than the LG G7 One. The LG G7 Fit is available in New Platinum Gray and New Aurora Black color variants. Furthermore, both these smartphones will be launched at IFA 2018 in Berlin this week. That said, we will update the pricing once these smartphones are launched.
